Miles Newman is from Wildwood, MO, where he attended Lafayette High School. In high school, Miles played mellophone in the marching band and joined winter guard for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. After taking a year off in 2021 and graduating high school, Miles continued with color guard in 2022, becoming an inaugural member of the La Voûte Artistic Collective and marching with the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. The year after, Miles became a cast member of the La Voûte Performance Ensemble and also marched with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2023-2024). Currently, Miles is studying Computer Science at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, teaching color guard at Pattonville High School and Lafayette High school, and is looking forward to the upcoming season and seeing this organization thrive in the future!
