La Voûte Performance Ensemble

La Voûte Performance Ensemble is a competitive unit from St. Louis, MO composed of high caliber performers in the marching arts. The team competes locally and nationally in the Independent Open classification via the Mid Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA) as well as Winter Guard International (WGI). Throughout the 2023-2024 season performers will refine technique, originate a competitive production, and tour regionally in conjunction with both competitive circuits. LVPE cast members will also attend monthly dance classes instructed by local St. Louis dance professionals as part of our Masterclass Series.

Age: 18-23 (age reflected as of April 1, 2024)

Eligibility: Eligible performers should have 3+ years of performance experience including, but not limited to marching band, color guard, winter guard, drum corps, concert dance, competitive dance, gymnastics, theatre, etc. Performers cannot actively perform with another scholastic or independent unit registered to compete with MCCGA or WGI.

Experience: Interested performers should showcase advanced skills in movement and flag with additional consideration to rifle/sabre training and other special skills.

Evaluation: All interested performers will be evaluated in the professional level classes in movement and flag at the initial audition on September 24th. Callbacks will be hosted on Sunday, October 1st, 2023.

Season Schedule:
*Saturday/Sunday (weekly October 2023-April 2024)
*Performances on select Saturdays (January - April 2024)

Tuition: $1,650 (scholarship and fundraising opportunities available)
*Tuition is paid in equal monthly installments (October-February)

La Voûte Artistic Collective

La Voûte Artistic Collective is a training program focused on providing aspiring color guard performers with opportunities to continue building upon their technical and performance skills in movement, flag, rifle, and sabre. Throughout their season, LVAC will work alongside La Voûte Artistic Staff as well as select cast members of La Voûte Performance Ensemble to expand their scope of fundamental ability, learn existing repertoire, and produce new choreography. In addition to consistent training, the Artistic Collective will represent La Voûte through performance exhibitions and community outreach events. For the 2023-2024 season, LVAC has expanded their educational programming to offer performers to the opportunity to compete in WGI Virtual Events as well as participate as a paid performer through our partnership with Dragons Drum & Bugle Corps.

Age: No age limit
