Kellen Beaty is from Normal, IL and currently studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He plans to graduate in May 2026 with a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Organizational Development. Kellen has been a part of the marching arts since 2016 and directed the Normal Color Guard and Winter Guard based in Normal, IL from 2020 to 2025. Kellen marched his DCI career with the Madison Scouts (2020-2023) and was the head guard captain during each of his seasons. He now spends his summers with the Madison Scouts on their educational staff, giving back to an organization that gave him countless opportunities. Returning for his second season with La Voûte Performance Ensemble, Kellen has stepped into a leadership role with the organization as an ensemble representative and is grateful to have the opportunity to lead his peers.
