Development Director and Artistic Staff
Nami Rutherford is born and raised from St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Parkway Central High School, where she was an active member of the color guard and winter guard for 4 years. After graduating high school, Nami performed with Avidity Independent in 2019. She studied fine arts at St. Louis Community College in Florissant Valley for two and a half years until 2021. Nami worked with the color guard and marching band at Francis Howell Central High School December 2018-October 2024, where she served as the Color Guard director for 5 years. Nami also worked with the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, 2 years on the visual staff and 1 year on the color guard staff. She is currently a visual artist while also working at Washington University. Having been a performer with LVPE for 5 seasons(2020-2024), Nami is excited to be on staff at La Voûte to give back to the artists and organization that gave her a place to call home when she needed it most.
