Cal Laguna is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he attended Union High School. He started his career in the marching arts in 2013, spinning nine fall and winter seasons in high school, most notably making Bands of America Grand National Finals twice. Since graduating, he has marched two seasons with Resistance Indoor Percussion, one season with Music City Drum Corps, and this will be his third season with La Voûte Performance Ensemble. Throughout his independent career, he has made WGI Open class finals three times. Since 2022, he has taught at multiple schools in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Illinois. He currently teaches at Edwardsville High School, a 2025 Scholastic A Class Finalist at WGI World Championships. He is very excited to come back to La Voûte Performance Ensemble after a season off and make his debut in world class!
