Summer Intensive Series
May-September
The La Voûte Summer Intensive Series serves the greater St. Louis community as an outlet for unity among performing artists. This program was established to offer educational courses at varying levels (Introductory, Apprentice, Professional) with a focus on movement, flag, rifle, and sabre training as related to the marching arts. Throughout the course of one day, participants will engage in technical, performance, and choreographic challenges while integrated among peers from throughout the community that might not otherwise be accessible. Our Introductory/Apprentice level artists find inspiration in performing alongside the community's more experienced individuals, while our Professional level is geared toward continuing education. At the end of each intensive, performers are encouraged to invite their friends and family to a showcase where all participants have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they learned throughout their experience.
Masterclass Series
November-April
The La Voûte Masterclass Series is an extension of the marching arts that is accessible to performers that might not otherwise have a connection to our community of artists. Each event is taught by a professional dancer from the St. Louis community as they share knowledge from a multitude of dance genres. This event is marketed to interested individuals who share a passion for movement as a means of creative outlet. Participants also have the opportunity to take class alongside members of La Voûte Performance Ensemble at each event.
