La Voûte Artistic Collective

La Voûte Artistic Collective is a training program focused on providing aspiring color guard performers with opportunities to continue building upon their technical and performance skills in movement, flag, rifle, and sabre. Throughout their season, LVAC will work alongside La Voûte Artistic Staff as well as select cast members of La Voûte Performance Ensemble to expand their scope of fundamental ability, learn existing repertoire, and produce new choreography. In addition to consistent training, the Artistic Collective will represent La Voûte through performance exhibitions and community outreach events. For the 2023-2024 season, LVAC has expanded their educational programming to offer performers the opportunity to compete in WGI Virtual Events as well as participate as a paid performer through our partnership with Dragons Drum & Bugle Corps.

Auditions

All eligible performers interested in auditioning for LVAC will be required to attend a formal audition on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. At minimum, performers must audition both movement and dance in the intermediate or professional skill level to be considered for the Artistic Collective. Performers can also designate their interest in auditioning for both the Performance Ensemble and Artistic Collective. However, each selected performer will only be cast in either LVPE or LVAC. For more information on audition requirements for LVPE, please reference the designated page on our website.

Tuition

LVAC is a tuition based program and the financial commitment for the 2023-2024 season is to be determined based upon grant funding and general program interest. The cost of tuition is determined by the need for rehearsal facilities, staff salaries, costumes, flags, and masterclasses. Tuition will be paid in 4 installments throughout the season.
