Halima Hussain has participated in color guard since she began High School at Rockwood Summit. She performed with both the marching band and winter guard during her four years here. After graduating in 2016, she began performing with Avidity Independent Open winter guard for the seasons of 2017 and 2019. In 2018, Halima began working with the Rockwood Summit color guard and winter guard program, and in 2021, the Lafayette color guard and winter guard program. In 2020, Halima was cast as a performing member of the La Voûte Performance Ensemble for their inaugural season, 2021, and 2022 season. She is currently the director of the Rockwood Summit color guard and will be entering her eleventh season with the group, and her second season with the Lafayette color guard.
